Gin Rummy is a popular and strategic card game that involves arranging your hand into sets and runs. The main objective is to form groups of cards with the same rank or consecutive cards of the same suit. By eliminating these combinations, you can earn points and ultimately aim to reach a target score of 100 points.
GUIDELINES
If you are new to the game of Gin Rummy, the key goal is to minimize the number of unmatched cards, known as "deadwood," in your hand. Ideally, you want to eliminate all the deadwood cards. The total points of your remaining deadwood cards will then be added to your opponent's score. The game ends when either player reaches or exceeds a score of 100 points. If your opponent manages to reach 100 points first, you lose. Conversely, if you reach the target score before your opponent, you emerge as the winner.
